Beautiful Autumn Family

This family graced me with an awesome session on a beautiful fall day with perfect, cloud-filtered light. The trees were at peak glory, and the sun was in and out giving us all sorts of perfect lighting situations.

As with all of my families, they were so loving and fun with each other. We had the best time, evah! I mean, seriously, how cool is my job? I get to laugh and enjoy my sessions with amazing families while creating memories for them that last a lifetime.

Cooper Cuties

That fun, and crazy-close sibling dynamic makes my heart sing which is why I love sibling sessions. Natural smiles are effortless with all the laughing going on, too. There's magic to these sessions because you just go with flow and let the kids guide you image by image.

This trio of sibs session was held on a gorgeous, early autumn day when the leaves were just starting to turn. The light was its usual late day perfect, and the kids were super sweet with each other, too. They brought so much personality and fun to their session.  Everything that there should be when creating images. Pure joy.

Late Autumn

What do you get when you combine perfect weather, beautiful light and an amazing family? You get an awesome and fun photo session <insert smile emoji>. This family is about as real as they get and I adore them.

They came comfortably dressed in flannel, Ts and jeans.  My kind of people. I love G's dress, boots and necklace, too. THAT necklace. Need I say more?

Fall Fun at Sandra Pond

This family was a joy to photograph. They had so much energy and personality that is was effortless to get them to warm up for their session. We pretty much laughed our way through our time together that we were able to capture many joyful, candid shots in addition to naturally posed ones.

I always aim to get images of little ones sky high in daddy's arms, and sweety shots of snuggling siblings, too. I also love taking a few frames of couples. How cute are they? Families having fun and loving each other during their sessions is what sings to me and why I love this genre of photography.

October

This was my fourth time photographing this beautiful trio (yes, Bo the dog included). But the first time photographing them at Pratt Pond (my usual outside studio). It was peak fall foliage so the colors were beautiful and reflecting off the pond behind them.

Her red wrap contrasted perfectly with all the gorgeous colors of October. That wrap. Need I say more. They are such a sweet family and every session with them has been filled with fun and laughter. I truly adore this family and I'm grateful that they come back year after year.

Running on Autumn

I photographed this beautiful family in early November when there was still a little foliage left. What existed was lit by late afternoon sun illuminating the trees with fiery hues. Nature was perfectly fall-ish.

I love getting to know my families during their sessions. The love that this family has for each other spills out around them. Dreamy. The sisters chasing each other; everyone laughing and having fun--joyful and playful moments are what it's all about.

Autumn Magic

My fall sessions were absolute magic with beautiful foliage, rustic barns, and golden grasses as the setting for most. My families brought the love and fun on in a BIG way and I enjoyed photographing every sweet moment between them.

This adorable family's session was pretty much a big play date. We had lots of fun exploring, running around, and tossing colorful leaves. There were tons of snuggles, laughs and lovey dovey moments, too. It's the stuff that dreams are made of and it's always magic.

Getting the Ball Rolling

Hey there, friends! I've been wanting to start blogging for forever and a day and I'm officially starting now! Better late than never, right? I've enjoyed posting sneak peeks on Facebook--yes, but blogs are another great vehicle for not only seeing images from your sessions, but writing about all the fun, magical moments during your sessions, too. Think of it as storytelling--words and images coming together to communicate a special moment in time.

I'll begin with blogging a few of my 2015 families and Class of 2016 seniors, and take it from there. Expect my blog posts to be brief but pretty. I'm a keepin' it short and sweet kind of gal. Hold on tight: Images and words coming soon. Until then, thank you for your patience and Happy Holidays!
